Calcio Lecco (officially Calcio Lecco 1912 SpA ) is an Italian football club from Lecco , a town in Lombardy . The club colors are light blue and dark blue. The club's stadium is the Stadio Rigamonti Ceppi , with space for 5,000 spectators.
history
The association was founded on December 22nd, 1912. The club had its greatest period in the 1960s, when it played in Serie A from 1960 to 1962 and again in the 1966/67 season. After that, however, there was a rapid crash that led the club to Serie C as early as 1969 . 1972/73 Calcio Lecco played once a season in the second-rate series B . Then we went downhill, to the Series D . From 2005 on they played in the fourth-class C2 series, before promotion to the C1 series was realized in June 2007. In the 2009/10 season they played in the third-class Lega Pro Prima Divisione and rose to 18th place in the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione .
