Hong Kong Pro Cycling
The Hong Kong Pro Cycling Team ( Chinese 香港 職業 隊 / 香港 职業 队 , Pinyin Xiānggǎng Zhíyè Duì , Jyutping Heung 1 gong 2 Jik 1 yip 6 Deui 6 * 2 - "Hong Kong professional team") is a Hong Kong - Chinese cycling team .
The team was founded in 2005 under the name Purapharm and mainly participated in races of the UCI Asia Tour with a license as a Continental Team . The manager is Man Wong, who is supported by Jin Kang Shen, Dor Ming Chau, Xiao Hua Zhang, Kain Ming Tsang and Wai Chung Man. In their first season, they won the Tour of South China Sea with Kin San Wu at the end of the year. In the team classification of the UCI Asia Tour 2006 they finished eighth.
At the end of the 2007 road season, the team was no longer registered as a Continental Team. Instead, registration as a UCI Track Team took place from the 2007/2008 track cycling season .
