Marco Andreolli (born June 10, 1986 in Ponte dell'Olio , Piacenza province ) is an Italian football player .

Club career

Marco Andreolli started his career in the youth department of Calcio Padova , where he was discovered by Inter Milan scouts . In 2003 he moved to the Milanese, where he was initially used in the youth team and won the Coppa Italia Primavera with them in the 2005/06 season . He also played a few games for the junior team Inters that won the Campionato Primavera in 2007 . The defensive player made his debut for Inter's first team in the 2004/05 season and although Andreolli never went beyond substitute status at Milan, he won numerous titles with his team.

From 2007 to 2010 the defender was under contract with AS Roma . In the winter break of the 2007/08 season he was awarded for half a year to the Serie B club Vicenza Calcio , in the 2008/09 season to the Serie B team US Sassuolo Calcio . In August 2010 Andreolli signed at AC Chievo Verona , where he made 79 league appearances in three seasons and scored three goals.

In January 2011, Inter Milan bought back part of the transfer rights to the defender. After his contract with Chievo Verona expired, he finally returned to the Milanese in July 2013, where he signed a contract until 2017.

On August 31, 2015, Andreolli moved to Sevilla FC on loan until the end of the 2015/16 season .

In the summer of 2017 Andreolli moved to Cagliari Calcio .

National team

Andreolli has previously played for various youth teams in Italy. With the U-21 of the Azzurri , he took part in both the U-21 European Championship 2007 in the Netherlands and the U-21 European Championship 2009 in Sweden .
