First years

Rigoni began his career in 2006 with Vicenza Calcio , who were then playing in Serie B and made his debut on January 13, 2007 against Brescia Calcio , where he was substituted on shortly before the end of the game and was practically not played. He continued to play often for the team's U-19s, only in the last seven match days of the 2008/09 season he got the opportunity to play more often and was able to recommend himself with a goal and an assist for the coming season. In the following season he was used 19 times and was then committed by US Palermo , but a short time later loaned it back to Vicenza. After his return he was only used sporadically and had to contend with a thigh injury in the meantime. Eventually he returned to Vicenza Calcio and played 28 games in the 2011/12 season , which was disappointing for the club with 19th place in the table.

From 2012

On September 5, 2012 Rigoni was finally signed by Chievo Verona , but awarded three more times to gain match practice and experience, as Rigoni had never played in Serie A before. Since his return in 2015 Rigoni has been one of the shortlisted midfielders and has been used regularly, mostly in defensive or central midfield.

National team

He made his debut for the Italian U-17s on January 23, 2007 and played a total of two appearances, while for the U-20s he played twice in friendly matches against Switzerland and Spain , both games were 0-1 lost.
