Nenad Tomović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Ненад Томовић ; born August 30, 1987 in Kragujevac , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football player .
Career
youth
At the age of twelve he played for his youth club Radnički Kragujevac in his hometown. At the age of 16 he went to Belgrade to see Rad Belgrade . He spent a year at Rad Belgrade. He was about to move to RSC Anderlecht , but the move failed because he could not agree on a contract with the club's management. Instead, he signed a contract with Red Star Belgrade .

In 2004 he signed a contract with Red Star Belgrade. He made his debut for Red Star under Red Star's coach at the time, Walter Zenga , who used him in the game against FK Zeta . After this season he was loaned to FK Rad Belgrade . He spent two years there. Then he returned to Red Star Belgrade. He quickly became a regular at Roter Stern. On July 13, 2009, he moved to CFC Genoa for a transfer fee of 3.5 million euros . At Genoa he could not prevail, so he was loaned to US Lecce on January 1, 2011 . At Lecce he became a regular player. On August 31, 2012, he moved to Fiorentina for a transfer fee of 4.2 million euros . There he came to 126 missions in five years. In 2017 he signed a loan deal with Chievo Verona.
National team
He took part in the Summer Olympics in Beijing with Serbia . There he was eliminated with Serbia in the group stage. For the Serbian U-21 national team he played 9 games and scored one goal. With the Serbian U21 he took part in the U-21 European Football Championship 2009 in Sweden . There he was eliminated with Serbia in the group stage. He made his debut for the Serbian national team on December 14, 2008 in a friendly against Poland .
