Filip Đorđević ( Serbian - Cyrillic Филип Ђорђевић ; born September 28, 1987 in Belgrade , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football player who has been under contract with the Italian first division club Chievo Verona since 2018 .

Filip Đorđevic started playing football at Red Star Belgrade . In the 2006/07 season, the then 20-year-old played on loan at FK Rad . Đorđevic moved to FC Nantes in the French Ligue 2 from the 2007/08 season during the winter break . With seven goals in 18 games in the second half of the season, he contributed to the club's promotion to Ligue 1 . There Djordjevic did not get beyond the reserve role and was only used in 19 games in which he scored two goals. FC Nantes rose from Ligue 1 at the end of the 2008/09 season . The sporting situation of Đorđević did not change anything in the 2009/10 season : in 19 championship games he scored two goals and finished with his club a disappointing 15th place. In 2010/11 , Đorđevic made his breakthrough when he played 36 times and scored twelve goals. In the 2012/13 season , FC Nantes managed to return to Ligue 1 and Đorđevic finished second in the scorers list with 20 goals in 34 missions.

National team

Đorđević was appointed to the Serbian national team on November 24, 2007 . National coach Javier Clemente called him, along with nine other debutants, to the qualifying game for the European Football Championship in Belgrade against Kazakhstan in 2008 , but he did not get the chance to play. Under coach Siniša Mihajlović , he made his debut for his home country in the friendly against Chile on November 14, 2012.
