Since July 2008, he plays for Chievo Verona in the Italian Serie A .

Although Frey is under contract with Chievo in the 2017/18 season , he is not eligible to play in the first half of this season.

family

His brother, Sébastien Frey , was a goalkeeper and was also under contract in Italy for a long time. He played for Inter Milan , AC Parma , AC Florence and CFC Genoa , among others . His father, Raymond Frey, who was also a goalkeeper, and his grandfather André Frey , who was a defender, were also football players.
