Gionatha Spinesi (born March 9, 1978 in Pisa , Italy ) is a former Italian football player , he played on the position of a striker .

Career

Gionatha Spinesi began his career in his hometown at SC Pisa , shortly afterwards he moved to Inter Milan , where he was unable to assert himself. Therefore he was loaned out to SC Pisa and ASD Castel di Sangro where he recommended himself for Serie A , which is why he moved to AS Bari for the 1998/99 season. In Bari Spinesi played a total of six seasons in Serie A and B before moving to AC Arezzo for the 2004/05 season and thus returning to Tuscany . After a season at Arezzo in which he scored a total of 22 goals, Gionatha Spinesi moved to Sicily for league rivals Calcio Catania . Here he immediately became a regular player and scored goals on the running meter (a total of 23 goals in 38 games). Also thanks to the goals from Spinesi, Catania rose to Serie A at the end of the season after a long absence. In the summer of 2009, his contract with Catania Calcio was not renewed and Spinesi was then without a club for several months. Although the attacker had already agreed on a contract with third division club AS Pescina Valle del Giovenco , he decided to end his active career early in October 2009.
