Christian Riganò (born May 25, 1974 in Lipari ) is a former Italian football player . He played in the position of a striker.

Riganò started his career in his home village Lipari with Lipari Calcio, which played in the second highest Italian amateur league, the Eccellenza . As a result, he played for six seasons with various lower-class southern Italian clubs before joining Taranto Sport in Serie C2 in the 2000/01 season . Already in the first season Riganò rose with Taranto in the third highest Italian professional league, the C1 series .

In the 2002/03 season, Riganò moved to the traditional Italian club Fiorentina , which was relegated to Serie C2 due to financial problems. Here Christian Riganò quickly became a crowd-pleaser, because with his goals he played a decisive role in the fact that Fiorentina rose from Serie C2 to Serie A in just two years . He scored a total of 58 goals for the Florentines before moving to Serie A club FC Empoli for the 2005/06 season.

In the 2006/07 season Riganò played for the first division club FC Messina from his home province. Here he once again demonstrated his nose for goals and scored 19 goals in 27 games. But these were not enough to prevent Messina from being relegated from Serie A.

In the 2007/08 season he was under contract with the Spanish first division club UD Levante and was loaned to Serie A club AC Siena for the second half of the season, as the Levantines could no longer meet the wages of most of the players.
