Uwe Altenried

Uwe Altenried (born October 17, 1961 in Friedrichshafen / Baden-Württemberg ) is a German musician, composer and producer. Until 2005 he was the musical director of the Klostertaler . He mainly composes for performers in the fields of Schlager , Popschlager and folk music . He lives with his family near Offenburg , where he runs the "Liederfabrik" in his recording studio "Amusic", a label and his own music publisher .

Musical career

Altenried's musical roots lie in the youth and city band Wangen . After various band projects such as Pink Panther, Jersey and Flair, Altenried moved to the recording studio in Vorarlberg in 1992 , where he met the young people from Klostertal . After working together, Altenried joined the band. Together with them he produced the track "An a Wunder hob i believes", which won the 1993 Grand Prix of Folk Music . Soon afterwards he took over the musical direction of the band. In addition to the keyboards, he completed the wind section on the baritone and trombone with Markus Wolfahrt on the flugelhorn and Gerhard Tschann on the saxophone. During his 13 years working for the Klostertaler he produced 13 albums, 11 of which reached gold and three platinum status. Altogether Altenried sold more than 8 million records with the Klostertalern . At the end of 2005 he left the Klostertaler, which dissolved completely in 2010. Since 2006 Altenried has dedicated himself entirely to writing, composing and producing music. Together with his wife, the lyricist Simone Altenried , he runs the recording studio Liederfabrik near Offenburg. The studio offers composition, lyric writing, production, song writing camps and coaching .
