Laura Kamhuber (born August 8, 1999 ) is an Austrian singer .

life and career

Kamhuber lives with her parents in Amaliendorf in the northern Waldviertel . She is currently attending the HLW Zwettl. At the age of three she was already singing in a retirement home. At the age of 11, Kamhuber was a participant in the Kiddy Contest on television. From this point on, Kamhuber took regular singing lessons and increasingly appeared at events. In 2012, Kamhuber sang a popular song for the first time at a benefit event .

Shortly thereafter, Kamhuber reached the semifinals on the ORF broadcast Die Große Chance . Then Kamhuber took part in The Voice Kids in Germany in 2013 . She reached the battles there. Uwe Altenried (composer) and Peter and Gaby Wessely (lyricist) wrote their own title for them, followed by a record deal with Tyrolis .

Kamhuber was invited to the Musikantenstadl in 2013 by Andy Borg with her song Who Keeps Order (... is just too lazy to search) . This was followed by an appearance in the Silvesterstadl in Klagenfurt . In December 2013 she presented her first album Wie guat dass ia am Madl .

At the beginning of 2016 she took part in the Austrian preliminary round of the ESC 2016 with her song Stay Tonight .

In the meantime, her interpretation of Whitney Houston's classic I Will Always Love You reached around 200 million views on YouTube, making it the most successful music video by an Austrian performer on this platform.
