Amaliendorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Amaliendorf-Aalfang in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 267 building areas with 53,145 m² and 107 gardens on 17,884 m² in the cadastral community of Amaliendorf, in 1989/1990 there were 266 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 980 and in 2009/2010 there were 457 buildings on 1,010 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 143 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and there were no forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 100 hectares and 4 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 57 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 4 hectares. The average soil climate of Amaliendorf is 17.1 (as of 2010).
