Aalfang is a village and a cadastral community of Amaliendorf-Aalfang in Lower Austria .

Aalfang is on the road from Gmünd to Heidenreichstein .

history

The place was constituted in 1850, i.e. after the reforms of 1848/1849 , together with the place Falkendorf to the independent municipality Eilfang with then 819 inhabitants, which in 1968 merged into the municipality Amaliendorf-Aalfang .

economy

In 1938, a doctor, a butcher, two innkeepers, two general merchants, a midwife, a shoemaker, a carpenter, a wagner and a farmer were listed in the village.
