Peter Wessely

Peter Wessely (* 1959 in Vienna ) is an Austrian songwriter. Wessely mainly writes texts for interpreters of popular and folk music.

biography

Wessely worked for 20 years as a copywriter and conceptualist in international advertising agencies, where he designed TV and radio spots for well-known corporations such as B. The Coca Cola Company, General Motors, Nestle, Unilever, Ford and Mercedes.

Peter Wessely has been writing music texts since 2000. Together with his wife Gaby he works for numerous interpreters of the hit, pop and folk music scene. To date, Peter Wessely has written over 2,500 texts, including for DJ Ötzi , the Kastelruther Spatzen , the Nockalm Quintet , the Klostertaler and Stefan Mross . In the pop area, among other things, the text of the Christina Stürmer song Loves you like me comes from the pen of Peter and Gaby Wessely.

To date, songs by Peter and Gaby Wessely have been awarded 61 gold , 19 platinum , three double platinum and one triple platinum awards.
