Oliver Haidt (born August 19, 1977 in Graz ; real name Walter Wilfinger ) is an Austrian pop singer .

Life

Oliver Haidt grew in Styria in Sinabelkirchen , where his parents had a farm. At the age of eleven he won a singing competition. After school he learned the trade of retail salesman . Then he started composing, writing and was involved in the production of other groups. Among many other titles, Oliver Haidt wrote the title "I will live", which DJ Ötzi also sang in 2008.

In 1998, Haidt took part in the only ever Grand Prix des Schlagers competition and surprisingly won the title I think of Rhodes . This victory was the greatest success for him so far and brought him several appearances on various television programs. His other hit productions were also able to last for a few weeks.

In 2002 Haidt took part in the Grand Prix of Folk Music for Austria with the singer Petra Frey . Her title Separate Us Also Seas reached number 11.
