The young Zillertaler are a music group from Strass in the Zillertal ( Austria ). Band members are: Markus Unterladstätter (vocals, bass), Daniel Prantl (guitar, vocals) and Michael Ringler (accordion, vocals). Stylistically, the group moves in the field of folk music .

They had their biggest single hit with their version of So a Schöne Tag, which had previously been a Wiesn hit for Donikkl .

style

Her style changed from 1997 to 2007 from classical folk music to a mixture of rock, pop and folk music elements. Furthermore, serious topics are rarely dealt with in their texts, but humorous events, circumstances or actions.

JUZIopenair

Every year fans of the band meet in mid-August at the JUZIopenair in Strass im Zillertal, which first took place in 2000. The welcome evening for the fan groups takes place on Thursday. A fan hike in the Zillertal mountains will be organized on the second day of the event. On Saturday, the big open-air concert will take place on the festival site, which traditionally ends with the appearance of the JUZIs and a large fireworks display. The traditional end on Sunday is a family morning pint. A total of almost 7,000 visitors were on site on the four days of the event in 2018.
