Mara Kayser

Mara Kayser (born April 2, 1966 in Sântana , German  Sanktanna , People's Republic of Romania ) is a German popular pop singer .

Life

As a 15-year-old, the native Banat Swabian sang in a band with which she performed at dance events on weekends. She completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and became chief secretary.

In 1991 Claus Backhaus (former member of the Flippers band ) became aware of her because of her special voice. He heard her sing at an event and spontaneously invited her to his studio for an audition. In 1995 she turned her hobby into a profession. Backhaus was its producer, composer, lyricist and manager until 2003. In 2005 she got to know the composer and producer Wolfgang Herrmann , from whom she has interpreted over 50 titles by 2019. In 2006 Mara Kayser released her first, completely self-written album Angekommen . With this album she took the step towards a demanding German hit. In addition to music, Mara Kayser also devotes herself to painting.

Mara Kayser took part in the “Grand Prix of Folk Music” four times. In 2006 she released her first hit single with All Men of the World .
