SS Barletta Calcio (officially: Società Sportiva Barletta Calcio) is an Italian football club from the city of Barletta , which was founded in 1922. The team plays in the Stadio Cosimo Puttilli with a capacity of 3,998 seats. The re-establishment took place in 1995 after financial problems. Currently played by the club in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione B . Nevio Orlandi is the coach and Roberto Tatò is the club president. Last season the team reached the fifth place in the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione C .

Club history

In the 2007/08 season of Serie D, Barletta finished second in the Girone H group and qualified for the upcoming playoffs. In the playoffs, however, they could not exist and they did not reach the semi-finals. But thanks to their placement as the second best team in the three groups, they won the special qualification and were promoted to the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione as one of the top five teams in the playoffs.
