Carlos Arturo Bacca Ahumada (born September 8, 1986 in Puerto Colombia ) is a Colombian football player .

Career

societies

Carlos Bacca began his professional playing career in 2007 with Atlético Junior in the Primera A . In order to collect match practice, he was awarded to Barranquilla FC in 2007 , then to AC Minervén FC and again to Barranquilla FC. In his first season in 2009 as an integral part of Atlético Junior, he was the top scorer in the Copa Colombia with eleven goals.

During the winter break of the 2011/12 season, Bacca moved to the Belgian first division club FC Bruges . He scored his first goal on April 15, 2012 in the game against KAA Gent .

For the 2013/14 season , Bacca moved to Sevilla FC in the Spanish Primera División . He scored his first two goals in the Spanish league for Seville on September 25, 2013 in the game against Rayo Vallecano , after being substituted on in the 70th minute of the game.

On July 2, 2015 Bacca moved to AC Milan in the Italian Serie A .

For the 2017/18 season , Bacca was awarded to Villarreal FC . He moved permanently to Villarreal in August 2018.

National team

He made his international debut for Colombia on August 11, 2010 in the friendly against Bolivia , in which he scored his first international goal. At the 2014 World Cup , he was part of the Colombian squad . In the quarter-final against Brazil he was substituted on in the 70th minute; the game was lost 1: 2. In June 2015, Bacca drove to the Copa America 2015 with the national team .

He was part of the Colombian squad at the 2018 World Cup in Brazil . He came to three missions and was eliminated with the team in the round of 16 against England on penalties.
