Álvaro González Soberón (born January 8, 1990 in Potes ) is a Spanish football player .

Career

society

González began his career with Racing Santander . He made his professional debut for the first division on the 34th matchday 2010/11 against RCD Mallorca . After relegation to the second division in 2012, he moved to the first division Real Saragossa , with whom he was also relegated to the second division in 2013. In 2014 he moved to the first division club Espanyol Barcelona .

In August 2016 he moved to league rivals Villarreal , where he received a four-year contract.

National team

González was part of the Spanish squad for the U-21 European Football Championship 2013 and won it with the Spanish U-21 . He completed a group game in the tournament.
