Jordan Kevin Amavi (born March 9, 1994 in Toulon ) is a French football player . The left-back is under contract with Olympique Marseille .

Career

societies

Amavi began his career in 2001 in his hometown with Sporting Toulon . In 2010 he moved to the youth team at OGC Nice , where he was used from the 2012/13 season for the B team in the fifth class CFA 2 . For the season 2013/14 he moved on to the pros, where he on 10 August 2013 in the 0: 4 away defeat at Olympique Lyon in Ligue 1 debut. Amavi scored his first goal on September 20, 2014 in the 2-1 defeat at FC Nantes .

For the 2015/16 season Amavi moved to Aston Villa in the English Premier League . He signed a five-year contract. After ten league appearances, he tore a cruciate ligament in his right knee in November 2015 and was out until the end of the season. The team relegated to the Football League Championship after the season .

Amavi moved to Olympique Marseille in August 2017 . With the team he reached the final of the Europa League , in which they lost 3-0 Atlético Madrid .

National team

In May 2012, Amavi completed two international matches for the U18 team of the French Football Association . On October 11, 2013, he played for the U20 national team for the first time in a 3-2 home win against Denmark and came to a total of six missions for them. His debut for the U21 was Amavi on September 8, 2014 at 1: 1 against Iceland. He scored his first goal on September 8, 2015 in a friendly against Brazil.
