Career

Career start in Kapfenberg

Flecker began his career at SVU Murau . In 2010 he moved to the Kapfenberger SV academy . From the 2012/13 season he played for the third team of KSV, the ASC Rapid Kapfenberg , in the fifth-class league . In August 2014 he made his debut for the second team from Kapfenberg in the regional league when he was in the starting line-up against SV Anger on the first matchday of the 2014/15 season . In October 2014 he scored his first goal in the fourth-highest division in a 3-0 win against ASK Voitsberg . In May 2015 he was against SC Austria Lustenau for the first time in the squad of the professionals from Kapfenberg, but was not used.

In July 2015, he finally made his debut in the second division when he came on as a substitute for João Victor in the 81st minute against Lustenau on the second day of the 2015/16 season . In August 2015 he was in the Styrian starting line-up for the first time on the fifth match day against SKN St. Pölten , before he was replaced by Gerald Nutz at half-time . In March 2016, he scored his first goal in the second-highest division in a 2-1 win against FC Liefering . In his first season as a professional he came to 31 second division appearances, in which he scored three goals. In the following season 2016/17 he was used in 35 games and scored seven goals. He was only banned from LASK on matchday 34 .

First steps in the Bundesliga

For the 2017/18 season he moved to the Bundesliga club Wolfsberger AC , where he received a contract that ran until June 2019. In July 2017, he made his debut for the Carinthians in the Bundesliga when he came on for Mario Leitgeb in the 70th minute of the first matchday of that season against FC Red Bull Salzburg . On the following day he was on the grid for the first time against SV Mattersburg . He scored his only goal in the Bundesliga for WAC in a 5-1 defeat against Mattersburg in December 2017. In his first season in the Bundesliga, he played 31 games.

For the 2018/19 season he moved to the promoted TSV Hartberg free of charge, despite an ongoing contract with WAC . His contract with Hartberg ran until the end of the season. For Hartberg he was used in all 32 games during that season and scored seven goals. With the Styrians he was able to fix relegation on the last day of the match.

Change to the German Bundesliga

After his contract with Hartberg expired, Flecker moved to Germany for the 2019/20 season for Bundesliga promoted 1. FC Union Berlin , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021. In his first season at the capital club, he hardly played a role and was never used; throughout the season he was only six times in the matchday squad. For the 2020/21 season he moved to the second division Würzburger Kickers , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2022.
