Douglas (born January 12, 1988 in Florianópolis , Brazil ; real name Douglas Franco Teixeira ) is a Dutch football player of Brazilian origin.
Career
Douglas Franco Teixeira began his career at Joinville EC in the state of Santa Catarina . For the 2007/08 season he moved to FC Twente Enschede . On December 22, 2007, he completed his first game in the Dutch Eredivisie when he played against SC Heerenveen . Before that, he made his debut in Enschede in a friendly against Borussia Mönchengladbach on September 7th . After his contract expired, he moved to FK Dynamo Moscow in 2013 .
For the 2015/16 season he moved to the Turkish first division club Trabzonspor . After a year he left this club and switched to Sporting Lisbon instead .
