Lion Schweers (born April 1, 1996 in Dortmund ) is a German soccer player who is under contract with the Würzburger Kickers .

Career

Schweers started in the youth of TSC Eintracht Dortmund before joining the youth of Preußen Münster . In the 2014/15 season he played 24 games in the A-Juniors Bundesliga West with the club's U19s . In 2015 he received his first professional contract. In his first season 2015/16 he played 11 games for the second team in the Westphalia League and a total of 15 games in the third division for the first team. He made his professional debut on matchday 23 in January 2016 against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . It was also his starting XI debut.

After the end of the third division season 2018/19 , the defender left Münster after five years and 96 third division games to join league rivals Würzburger Kickers , where he signed a contract until June 30, 2021.

In Würzburg, the defender came to five third division and two state cup games and was awarded to the southwest regional league club SV Elversberg within the winter transfer period until the end of the season.
