Luca Pfeiffer (born August 20, 1996 in Bad Mergentheim ) is a German soccer player .

Career

In his youth, Pfeiffer played for VfR Gommersdorf , TSG Hoffenheim and FSV Hollenbach . There he played games for the club's first team in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg during his junior years . At the beginning of the 2016/17 season, he moved to the Stuttgarter Kickers , who had just been relegated from the 3rd division to the Regionalliga Südwest .

In 2018, Pfeiffer relegated to the league with the Kickers and then moved to SC Paderborn 07 . However, the striker was immediately loaned to third division club VfL Osnabrück . On September 1, Pfeiffer made his professional debut in the away game at Halleschen FC when he came on for Marcos Álvarez and at the end of the season rose to the second division with VfL as third division champions .

After his loan contract expired, the attacker did not return to Paderborn in spring 2019, the club instead sold him to the Würzburger Kickers , where he received a contract valid until June 2021.
With 15 goals this season, he played a key role in Würzburg's promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in
2019/20 .
