history

1970 to 2007: From founding to promotion to the association league

The FSV Hollenbach was founded in 1970. In 2000, the first team reached the championship in the Hohenlohe district league and rose to the first season of the Württemberg state league. The club, which is supported by the local sportswear manufacturer JAKO , received its first supraregional attention with the championship in the state league and the associated promotion to the Württemberg association league in 2007.

Current: Association and Oberliga Baden-Württemberg

After fifth place and third place in the first two league seasons, the team became champions in the 2009/10 season and was promoted to the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga . In the league they held seven seasons. 2017 you had to relegate to the association league, because the runner-up FSV 08 Bissingen failed in the relegation games on promotion. After the 2018/19 season they were about to return to the league, but failed in the relegation at Freiburg FC.

Youth work

Some players in the professional area have already completed their football training at FSV Hollenbach, such as B. Mart Ristl or Luca Pfeiffer .

The venue is the JAKO Arena with a capacity of 3,500 . It has already hosted a number of games by high-class teams.
