Mart Ristl (born July 7, 1996 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German soccer player .
Career
society
After playing for SV Winnenden as a G youth, Ristl first joined TSV Blaufelden in 2002 after his parents moved. In 2007, he went to the FSV Hollenbach , from which it into the 2010 youth academy of VfB Stuttgart moved. In the 2012/13 season , Ristl was German champion with the VfB youth team.
For the 2015/16 season he was promoted to the squad of the Bundesliga team of VfB. Ristl made his professional debut on July 31, 2015 for the second team of VfB Stuttgart in the 3rd professional league on the 2nd match day of the third division season 2015/16 against Preußen Münster . For the first team of VfB he played for the first time on October 24, 2015 in the Bundesliga on matchday 10 of the 2015/16 season against Bayer 04 Leverkusen .
On August 30, 2017, Ristl moved to FC Sochaux . At the beginning of the 2018/19 season he joined VfR Aalen . After relegation from Aalen, Ristl moved to FC Viktoria Köln in summer 2019 .
National team
In November 2010, Ristl played for the German U15 national team in two international matches against Poland. He made his U16 debut on October 13, 2011 against Ukraine. For the German U17 national team , he played his first game against Croatia on August 29, 2012. On the Turkish Riviera, Ristl took part in a four-nation tournament with the German U18 national team. With a win in the final game against Turkey, he and his team secured the tournament victory. On his debut against the Netherlands on September 5, 2014, Mart Ristl led Germany's U19 national team onto the pitch as captain. In the first qualifying round of the U19 European Championship in 2015 , he qualified as team captain with Germany for the elite round.
