Grégory Sertic (born August 5, 1989 in Brétigny-sur-Orge ) is a French football player with Croatian roots. He has been under contract with Olympique Marseille since 2017 .

Career

Grégory Sertic played in the 2008/09 season for the first time for the professional team from Bordeaux. He came to six appearances this season and scored one goal. Sertic usually came on the field in the closing stages as a substitute. At that time he could not prevail against his opponents Yoann Gourcuff and Fernando Menegazzo at Bordeaux . This season Sertic celebrated his first professional successes, for example winning the Ligue 1 title . In the following season, Sertić came on twelve missions. In 2010 he was awarded to the league competitor RC Lens . After the loan he was able to prevail as a regular player. On January 30, 2017, Olympique Marseille announced the signing of Sertić on their Facebook page.

National team

Sertic was appointed to the French U-21 national team for the first time in May 2009 and also took part in the 2009 European Championship . In total, he came to five missions for the U-21. There were no further nominations. In April 2013 he took on Croatian citizenship and is thus eligible to play for the Croatian national team.
