The Coppa Italia 1960/61 , the soccer cup competition for club teams in Italy in the 1960/61 season, was won by Fiorentina . The Fiorentina prevailed in the final against Lazio Rome and could win the Coppa Italia for the second time ever. The team of coach Giuseppe Chiappella won 2-0 and became the successor to Juventus Turin , who had prevailed against Florence last year, but this time eliminated in the semi-finals.

As the Italian cup winner in 1960/61, Fiorentina qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup of the following year, where they were only defeated by the Spanish Atlético Madrid in the replay of the final .
