Gianfranco Petris (born August 30, 1936 in Budoia , † July 1, 2018 in Trepalle , Livigno ) was an Italian football player , he played on the position of a winger.

Gianfranco Petris moved to US Triestina in the 1956/57 season , where he was part of the regular formation right away. However, at the end of the season the club was relegated to Serie B , but Petris stayed with Triestina. At the end of the 1957/58 season, however, he then moved to Fiorentina , where he could immediately play in the regular squad. Petris was able to celebrate great successes in Florence. In the 1960/61 season Petris won both the Coppa Italia and the European Cup Winners' Cup with the viola . The following season was also very successful, Florence took an excellent 3rd place in Serie A and they reached the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup again, but lost to Atlético Madrid . As a result, Petris played in Florence until the 1964/65 season before moving to league rivals Lazio Rome .
