Luigi Milan

Luigi Milan (born December 10, 1937 in Mirano ) is a former Italian football player , he played on the position of midfielder .

Luigi Milan moved to Udinese Calcio in the 1959/60 season , where he immediately belonged to the regular formation. At the end of the season he moved to Fiorentina where he immediately played in the regular squad. In Florence he was able to celebrate great successes as a result. In the 1960/61 season, Milan won both the Coppa Italia and the European Cup Winners' Cup with the viola . He was instrumental in winning the European Cup Winners' Cup, as he was able to score three of the four Fiorentina goals in the two finals. The following season was also very successful, Florence took an excellent third place in Serie A and they reached the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup again, but failed to Atlético Madrid . However, Milan was used much less in the 1961/62 season than in the previous season. At the end of the season he then moved to the promoted Calcio Catania , where he immediately became a regular again. After a season in Catania , Milan moved to Atalanta Bergamo .
