Coppa Italia 1971/72

The Coppa Italia 1971/72 , the soccer cup competition for club teams in Italy for the 1971/72 season, was won by AC Milan . Milan met SSC Napoli in the final and won the Coppa Italia for the second time. The team of coach Nereo Rocco prevailed 2-0 and became the successor to AC Turin , who had prevailed against Milan last year, but were eliminated in the second group stage this time.

As the Italian cup winners in 1971/72, AC Milan qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup of the following year, where they won the final against British representative Leeds United and thus secured the European Cup.
