Fabio Cudicini (born October 20, 1935 in Trieste ) is a former Italian football goalkeeper .

His son Carlo Cudicini was also a professional footballer.

Career

Cudicini began his career in 1955 at Udinese Calcio . In 1958 he moved to AS Roma . In the 1966/67 season he played for Brescia Calcio . His heyday was with AC Milan , where he played between 1967 and 1973. With Milan he was four times Italian champion, two-time winner of the Coppa Italia . At the international level Cudicini took with Milan twice the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and the 1968 Champions Cup . He was also the 1969 winner of the World Cup . In 1973 he ended his career. Although Cudicini was one of the best goalkeepers of his time, he never played for the Italian national football team .
