On September 15, 2014, work began on the Rujevica stadium and the associated training center with an area of ​​70,000 m 2 for 19 million euros . The Rujevica stadium is temporarily the venue of the HNK Rijeka until the completion of the new Kantrida stadium . When the Kantrida stadium is completed, the Rujevica stadium will continue to be used for training and as a venue for the club's lower teams. The main stand in the west is intended for the home fans and has boxes and a press stand. The uncovered east stand accommodates the guest fans.
