Marin Leovac (born August 7, 1988 in Jajce , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian - Austrian football player who currently plays for the Croatian first division club Dinamo Zagreb .

Career

Leovac started his career in Austria in 1997 with Sportunion Aschbach and in 2001 signed a contract with USV Oed / Zeillern. After only one year he left the club and signed a contract with FK Austria Wien in August 2002 . At first, Leovac was used by the amateurs. In the 2009/10 season he was brought into the first team squad. He made his Bundesliga debut on November 8, 2009 against SK Sturm Graz . The defender played through and got a yellow card in the 70th minute. The game ended 1-0. He previously made his debut at European club level when he was allowed to play through in the Europa League group game against Werder Bremen on November 5, 2009. The game in Bremen was lost 0-2. At the end of the 2012/13 season, Leovac became Austrian champions with Austria. Since January 2014 he has been playing for the Croatian club HNK Rijeka .

National team

On November 12, 2014, Leovac made his debut in London's Upton Park in a friendly against Argentina for the Croatian national team .
