Dominik Livaković (born January 9, 1995 in Zadar ) is a Croatian football goalkeeper who plays for Dinamo Zagreb and the Croatian national team.

Career

Livaković became part of the first team of NK Zagreb at the beginning of the 2012/13 season . Originally he was the club's substitute goalkeeper. On August 31, 2012 he made his league debut in a 0-1 home defeat to HNK Cibalia . Soon after, he became the club's number one and played a total of 104 league games in four seasons, including 90 in the 1st HNL .

On August 30, 2015, he signed a contract with Dinamo Zagreb. He made his league debut on October 2, 2016 in a goalless draw against Hajduk Split . On October 18, 2016, he played for the first time in the UEFA Champions League, losing 1-0 at home to Sevilla FC . He won his first league title with Dinamo in the 2017/18 season , playing 33 league games.

National team

Livaković was appointed to the Croatian national football team for the first time in May 2016, in a friendly against Moldova . He had his first starting eleven against Chile at the China Cup 2017 . A game in which Croatia lost on penalties. He was part of the Croatian selection that was runner-up at the 2018 World Cup in Russia , but did not play a game.
