NK Belišće is a Croatian football club from Belišće . He currently plays in the East Season of the 3rd HNL.
history
Founded in 1919 as BŠK (Belišćanski športski klub, dt. Belišćer sports club), renamed in 1925 to BRŠK (Belišćanski radnički športski klub, dt. Belišćer workers sports club), from 1941 to 1944 Viktoria and between 1945 and 1960 called Proleter, the club is called today since 1960.
Financed from the beginning by the local timber industry , NK Belišće was able to qualify for the then highest league in 1946 and played against Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split .
In 1967 and 1972 they were promoted to the 2nd Yugoslav League North, where the club was represented until 1971 and 1973, respectively.
From 1992 to 1995 the NK Belišće played in the Croatian first division . Since then, the club has played in the second or third division.
