NK Kamen Ingrad is a football club from Velika ( Croatia ).
The association was privately sponsored by Vladimir Zec . He was the general manager of the stone processing company Kamen-Ingrad in Velika, hence the name of the football club. It was thanks to him that this small town had a club in the highest Croatian football league.
The 10,000-seat stadium was financed and built by Vladimir Zec's company.
The biggest international success was the narrow elimination in the first round of the 2003/04 UEFA Cup against FC Schalke 04 .
In 2007, the now former club president was charged with tax evasion in Croatia. So he could no longer exercise the function of president and resigned from office. Without funds, the club was now facing ruin. As bottom of the table they rose from the 1st division in the same year and the following year from the 2nd division.
On July 23, 2008 the Croatian Football Association forbade the club from reporting a first team for the 2008/09 season because the salaries were no longer paid. Only youth teams were allowed.
