Wiktor Suwara (born July 24, 1996 ) is a Polish sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Wiktor Suwara gained his first international experience in 2013 when he finished sixth in the Polish sprint relay (1000 meters) in 1: 53.36 minutes at the Youth World Championships in Donetsk . In 2014 he retired from the Junior World Championships in Eugene with 47.71 s over 400 meters in the first round and also did not reach the final with the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 10.94 min. The following year he finished seventh in the European Junior Championships in Eskilstuna in 47.60 seconds and reached fourth place in the relay in 3: 10.40 minutes. Two years later he took part with the relay at the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz , where he won the silver medal behind the team from the United Kingdom in 3: 04.22 min. In 2019 he took part in the Summer Universiade in Naples for the first time , where he finished fifth in 46.36 s before winning the bronze medal behind the teams from Mexico and South Africa in 3: 03.35 min. He also qualified in the mixed relay for the World Championships in Doha , where he finished fifth in the final with 3: 12.33 min .

In 2019, Suwara became the Polish champion in the 400-meter run.
