Two weeks later he became German U20 champion . At the end of the year he was number one in the German best lists, both among the U18s with 22.02 m (5 kg) and among the U20s with 20.10 m (6 kg). In the hall he led the U18 list with 21.44 m (5 kg) and was second among the U20s with 19.28 m (6 kg).

In 2014 Müller started again as the German U20 indoor champion and with a personal best of 20.63 m. At the U20 World Championships in Eugene (Oregon) he reached 12th place with 19.00 m. Less than three weeks later, Müller became German U20 champions . Both outdoors (20.51 m) and in the hall (20.63 m) he was at the top of the German annual best list with the 6 kg ball in the U20s.

In 2015 he started the season as the German U20 indoor champion for the third time in a row and finished 5th at the German indoor championships . At the U20 European Championships in Eskilstuna he came in 4th place with 20.48 m and two weeks later became German U20 champion for the third time in a row . At the end of the year, Müller was once again in first position on the German best lists with the 6 kg ball in the U20 outdoors (20.69 m) and indoors (20.72 m).

At the German championships he remained without a valid attempt, but won the title a little later at the German police championships. After surpassing the 20-meter mark in the hall at the beginning of 2018, but this success also failed to materialize in the second outdoor season, Müller was dissatisfied with his performance development and announced his retirement from competitive sports in late summer.
