The list of Simpsons comics includes all comic series in The Simpsons series . All of the following series of comics were published by Bongo Comics . In Germany they were published by Dino Verlag , since 2003 it has been taken over by Panini Comics .

The German first edition appeared on November 6, 1996. In June 2013, it celebrated its 200th edition in Germany. In December 2018, the 248th issue was the last in the series.

Bart Simpsons horror show

The Bart Simpsons horror show comics have been published every fall since 1995 as a Halloween edition and are based on the Treehouse of Horror in the television series, which is why they also contain three different stories. The Bart Simpsons horror show comics are mostly draftsmen who normally do not write Simpsons stories.

The Simpsons Illustrated was the first magazine and predecessor of the Simpsons Comics . In addition to comics, the magazine also published articles, interviews and news about the series. In Simpsons Comics and Stories it was the only issue. It was later replaced by the Simpsons Comics .

Bartman, Itchy & Scratchy, and Radioactive Man comics

The Bartman Comics were published in 1993 and only reached six editions. The short-lived Itchy & Scratchy comics and the Radioactive Man comics also appeared . The Radioactive Man comics were a nod to typical comics from the 1950s. Radioactive Man fights against his communist archenemy Dr. Krabbe but also allusions to the ban on EC comics can be found. In Germany, the stories of these three series were printed in the Simpsons Comics .

Krusty Comics

The Krusty Comics were originally planned for three issues. The three issues deal with the rise and fall of Krustyland, but other stories have also been published. The first issue appeared in the USA in January 1995 and in Germany in February 2001.

Lisa comic

The Lisa Comic was a single booklet that was reduced to 2500 copies. It was released in the US in April 1995. Germany only followed in 2006.

The Simpsons / Futurama Crossover Crisis

This series was about a meeting of characters from Futurama and the Simpsons. In Germany, the first two parts appeared in Futurama Comics No. 10 and 11. The other two parts appeared in a separate comic. In the USA the story appeared in two separate issues.

Simpsons Classics / The Best of the Simpsons

The Simpsons Classics were reprints of the first Simpsons Comics issues. After thirty issues, the Classics was replaced by the series The Best of the Simpsons .

The Best of the Simpsons (in the USA: Simpsons Illustrated ) was the successor to the Simpsons Classics and also printed stories from older magazines.

The death of the comic guy

The Death of the Comic Type , a nod to the series The Day Superman Died , was a five-part series in the US and three-part in Germany.
