The remaining main speakers were Julie Kavner , Nancy Cartwright , Yeardley Smith , Hank Azaria and Harry Shearer ; supporting roles were mainly Marcia Wallace , Pamela Hayden , Tress MacNeille , Russi Taylor and Karl Wiedergott .

The first episode to be broadcast in HD was the tenth of season 20, Nonsense with Sauce ; it premiered on February 15, 2009 in the United States and premiered in Germany on November 17, 2009. The new opening credits were also introduced in this episode.

reception

criticism

“The 20th season of the 'Simpsons' was expected marginally euphoric. After twenty years there can be a lack of creativity and originality or at least become weaker. This is a completely natural development and basically normal. But 'The Simpsons' doesn't falter, on the contrary. In the anniversary year, Cast & Crew will once again present everything they have to offer in terms of biting, ironic and sarcastic jokes. At times it gets very angry and is really, really fun! "
