Deep, Deep Trouble is a rap song from the 1990 Simpsons album The Simpsons Sing the Blues, sung by Nancy Cartwright as Bart Simpson. It is about his tendency to cause unrest. It was written by Matt Groening and DJ Jazzy Jeff and recorded in the fall of 1990. It was the second single from the album in early 1991. The accompanying music video (by Gregg Vanzo) was broadcast on March 7, 1991 on television.

The video was later released on DVD as part of the season two boxing set.

"Deep, Deep Trouble" appeared on the 1990 album The Simpsons Sing the Blues with songs sung by the characters of the American TV series The Simpsons and was the second single after Do the Bartman . Matt Groening described the song as a tragic story of Bart Simpson, a bad youth that got worse. Nancy Cartwright, the voice actress for Bart, also voiced him on "Deep, Deep Trouble".

Music video

The music video premiered on March 7, 1991 on Fox TV, along with Season 2 of the Simpsons episode "Behavior Inadequate". The music video was nominated for the best special effects at the MTV Video Music Awards 1991 and became the No. 1 music video on the American MTV broadcaster.
