Game description

In the role of various Simpsons protagonists, the player has to complete various tasks in a mixture of racing and jump 'n' run games and can move freely in a 3D model of the fictional city of Springfield . This basic concept is partly reminiscent of the Grand Theft Auto series.

The game is divided into seven levels, in each of which you control a person known from the series in a certain district, whereby the number of possible characters is limited to five and there are only three different districts, which are sometimes very varied . Each level ends with a short video that continues the game story.

As an extra, "trading cards", each alluding to a scene from the series, were built into the game. There are seven such cards in each level. If you collect all the cards in the respective level, you get a multiplayer mini-game. In addition, you get a ticket for an Itchy and Scratchy short film in the Aztec Theater in Level 3, if you have found all 49 trading cards in the entire game at the end. In addition, many gags from the series were adopted.

In England, the game received the Diamond Award from the Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA) for at least one million units sold.
