The sixth season of the American animated series The Simpsons was broadcast from September 4, 1994 to May 21, 1995 on the US broadcaster Fox . The German-language first broadcast was broadcast by the private broadcaster ProSieben from July 15 to December 31, 1995, with the sixth episode of the season, Fear and Horror Without End, not being broadcast until December 27, 1999.

The season was released on DVD on August 16, 2005 in the United States and November 3, 2005 in Germany.
