Gregory Martin "Greg" Daniels (born June 13, 1963 in West Hollywood , California ) is an American screenwriter , producer and director of television series . He is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live and The Simpsons and as the producer of King of the Hill , Das Büro and Parks and Recreation .

Life

Greg Daniels is married with two children.

He has appeared as a screenwriter since the mid-1980s. The series he helped develop include King of the Hill , Das Büro , Parks and Recreation and Space Force (2020).

Awards

Daniels was awarded five Emmys and nominated eleven times. In 1989 he was awarded for Saturday Night Live . The Simpsons episode , written by Greg Daniels, Lisa's Wedding was awarded an Emmy in 1995, and in 1999 the King of the Hill episode "And They Call It Bobby Love". His scripts for Das Büro received two Emmy awards, at the 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards with Michael Schur , for the episode Gay Witch Hunt and at the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards for Goodbye, Michael .
