Steven Dean Moore (born December 31, 1965 ) is an American film director for cartoons . He is known for his work on 65 episodes of The Simpsons , as well as for his work on The Simpsons as Sequence Director under David Silverman . He was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2002 for his work on The Simpsons , and in 2004 he received the Annie Award for The Simpsons .
Career
Moore began his career as an illustrator for the series Bravestarr in 1987 . This was followed by Pound Puppies and the Legend of Big Paw , BraveStarr: The Legend , Denver, the Last Dinosaur . He then moved to the Art Department for The Real Ghostbusters (1990), Captain N: The Game Master and Rugrats (1991-1993), The Critic (1995). He also started with the Simpsons in 1991. Other projects he worked on were The Rescue (1988), A Goofy Movie (1995), Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003), Open Season (2006), and The Haunted World of El Superbeasto (2009). In 2014 he was back on The Simpsons Take the Bowl . He can be seen in the documentary 'The Simpsons': America's First Family (2000) and has worked as a screenwriter for Sue Thomas: FBEye .
