Le Val-d'Esnoms is a French commune with 389 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Langres and is part of the canton of Villegusien-le-Lac (until 2015 Prauthoy ). The inhabitants are called Esnonais .

Le Val-d'Esnoms is located about 48 kilometers south-southeast of Chaumont . Le Val-d'Esnoms is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Leuchey in the north, Saint-Broingt-les-Fosses in the east and northeast, Le Montsaugeonnais in the east and southeast, Rivière-les-Fosses in the south, Foncegrive in the southwest, Vernois-lès- Vesvres in the west and south-west, Vesvres-sous-Chalancey in the west and Vaillant and Aujeurres in the north-west.
The A31 car route runs along the western edge of the municipality .
history
In 1972, with the amalgamation of the municipalities of Esnoms-au-Val , Châtoillenot and Courcelles-Val-d'Esnoms, today's municipality of Le Val-d'Esnoms was created.
