Larivière-Arnoncourt is a French commune with 117 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Langres .

Larivière-Arnoncourt is located around 44 kilometers southeast of the city of Chaumont in the southeast of the Haute-Marne department.
history
The mechanization of agriculture led to heavy emigration in the late 19th and 20th centuries. Larivière and Arnoncourt-sur-Apance were historically part of the Bailliage de Langres Bailiwick within the royal province of Champagne . Both districts belonged to the Langres district from 1793 to 1801. Also from 1793 to 1801 to the canton of Sergneux and since 1801 to the canton of Bourbonne-les-Bains . Larivière split off from the municipality of Aigremont before 1800. Arnoncourt-sur-Apance was an independent municipality until it was merged with Larivière in 1973. The community has had its current double name since 1973.
