Champsevraine is a French commune with 734 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Langres and the canton of Chalindrey (until 2015 Fayl-Billot ).

Champsevraine is about 45 kilometers southeast of Chaumont . Champsevraine is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Chaudenay in the north, Rougeux in the northeast, Fayl-Billot in the east, Poinson-lès-Fayl in the east and southeast, Genevrières in the southeast, Belmont and Saulles in the south, Coublanc in the southwest, Rivières-le-Bois in the West and south-west, Les Loges in the west and Torcenay in the north-west.
history
In 1972, the municipality of Bussières-lès-Belmont was merged with Corgirnon . The name comes from a field name that is roughly equidistant from the two towns.
